Our Pear Relish is made from pears, onions, sweet banana pepper, cayenne pepper, sugar, vinegar, allspice, mustard seed, and celery seed. The pears make this a sweet relish. It is made from my grandmother’s recipe and I still make it one batch at a time. It is great with vegetables like fried okra, green beans, turnip greens, squash, or even on crackers.
